Although the weather might not be ideal for sitting outside on the street seat we designed, it is still a perfect time to grab some of the most sustainably harvested sushi in town and wash it down with some hot miso soup and warm sake.

The Tea Bar on N Killingsworth was one of our first projects and the first Tea Bar location. They now have locations downtown, in the Pearl, and on Division but we still have a soft spot for the original. When you are there, we highly recommend ordering the London Fog.
This will take some effort for our Portland friends to get to, but if you happen to be in Japan, head down to the town of Aridagawa and stop by the Orange Life Cafe - serving Portland Coffee in the ALEC community Center.

East Portland is about to get a fantastic coffee roaster with space ready for hosting community events while pouring some of the best coffee and chai in town. Look for the Diaspora Cafe to open in the Blackburn Center on E Burnside in early 2020.
